Make Something Special: TWIRLY REMIX - Make Something Special here's the skinny :: this piece is inspired by the adorable “twirly skirt” in Barefoot Knits by Christine Schwender and Paula Heist, a book i am constantly drawn to because it is filled with wonderful garments and gifts for the littles we love to knit for. while the original skirt is completely adorable, my kiddos needed a narrower silhouette... what to do, what to do... solution: frog it and come up with a new approach. my pattern remix is knit top-down on circular needles (no seams, hooray!) and has fewer increases than the original - it definitely still twirls, but...
