Apart from a distinguished career on screen and on stage he was the co-creator of one of the very few things in the history of the medium that demonstrated that Television could be an art form: The Prisoner. I put other designs on hold to immortalize his famous line from the opening credits in cross stitch. Surreal and odd it is a chilling allegory of the individual's isolation in the post-human era. A searing indictment of consumerism, conformity, and democracy where the consent of the drug and media zombiefied masses confers ultimate power.
