WHEELCHAIR LAPGHAN PATTERN


I WANTED A LAPGHAN THAT WAS EASY AND FAST TO DONATE TO NURSING HOMES SO I CAME UP WITH THIS. THIS PATTERN IS UNTESTED SO IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.


WHEEL CHAIR LAPGHAN

MATERIALS NEEDED:

WORSTED WEIGHT YARN - ( I USED DONATED YARN THAT DIDN''T HAVE LABLES ON IT SO I DON''T KNOW WHAT KIND IT WAS OR HOW MUCH YARN I USED)

SIZE J HOOK

STITCHES USED:
CH - CHAIN
SC - SINGLE CROCHET
DC - DOUBLE CROCHET
SL ST - SLIP STITCH
SP - SPACE
LEVEL: EASY

CH 104

ROW 1: DC IN 3RD CH FROM HOOK AND IN EACH CH ACROSS. CH 2 TURN

ROW 2: DC IN EACH DC ACROSS. CH 2 TURN

ROW3: DC IN NEXT ST.* CH 1 SKIP NEXT ST AND DC IN NEXT ST * AROUND ENDING WITH A DC IN LAST 2 ST. CH 2 TURN

ROW4:DC IN NEXT ST * DC IN CH 1 SP DC IN NEXT ST AROUND*CH2 TURN

ROW 5: DC IN EACH ST ACROSS CH2 TURN

ROW 6- 41 :REPEAT ROWS 3-4 AND 5 FOR PATTERN

EDGING:

AT THE END OF ROW 41 CH 1 WORK 3 SC IN SAME SP. SC EVENLY ALL THE WAY AROUND WORKING 3 SC IN EACH CORNER. JOIN WITH A SL ST TO TOP OF SC.

ROW2: CH1 5DC 1SC IN SAME ST.* SKIP NEXT 3 ST, SC 5DC SC IN NEXT ST* AROUND

JOIN WITH SL ST TO TOP OF CH1. FINISH OFF.

SOMETIMES I MIGHT JUST HAVE 2 ST AT THE END THAT''S ALRIGHT JUST JOIN ANYWAY.

3OR 4 DAYS! I WORKED ON A BLANKET WHILE JOHN WAS GETTING PT ALSO. YOU SPEND A LOT OF TIME WATCHING THEM AND THINKING ABOUT IF THIS OR THAT IS HURTING THEM.
